The LEH Synopsis will be posted on the Fish & Wildlife Branch website earlier this year. It will be available on-line as of Friday March 26th at http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/. The paper version of the LEH Synopsis will be distributed by April 19th and the closing date for applications is May 21, 2010.

CORE Online Update

The CORE ONLINE has been ready to go since April of 2008. The holdup is that the province was firstly working on copyright and licensing issues and now has moved to working on copyright of the original manual as it appears that some of the material came from other sources besides government. BCWF cannot move forward until the province resolves the copyright and we sincerely apologize for the inexcusably long delay. We have been attended numerous meetings with both the province and funder to get this moved along for the benefit of our members and in the interest of recruitment and retention and do not have a firm time commitment at this time for completion. We encourage members to write and/or call Ministry of Environment Fish and Wildlife Executive Director or your MLA to help get this important project online as soon as possible.
