BCWF Communications Committee Report

Most of the committees under the umbrella of the Communications Committee will have submitted separate reports on their activities for the past year.
The remarks in this report are more generalizations and for the most part reiterations of comments that have been made in past years.
Communications within the Organization
I have been beating this horse for a number of years now, with respect to communicating directly with club and individual members by email. This would entail developing a database of members' email addresses. Some of that work has already been by some of the clubs, provided they can get permission from their own members to release that information to the Federation.
Regardless, we appear to have started down that path now. Jesse Zeman, who you will meet at this convention has been tasked with setting up a Federation newsletter with the intention of making it available to the membership by email. This is a great move forward.

Again, a reminder to keep in touch through the BCWF website. Also that for clubs that don't have their own website and who would like to have a home to post newsletters etc., we can set you up on the Federation's site.

For members and others who are interested in receiving it, current articles which are felt to be of interest, from firearms legislation to conservation issues, are sent out by e-mail.
