WAYS OF GIVING TO THE BCWF Please consider the following ways you can contribute to the ongoing programs and projects of rehabilitating, maintaining and enhancing BCWF and Club initiatives on fish, bird and wildlife habitats in BC. DIRECT CONTRIBUTION Simply mail us a cheque or credit card information with the amount you wish to donate or call Toll Free 1 888 881 BCWF (2293) or you can click on the PayPal button over on the right and make an instant online donation. You may also choose to donate a specific amount monthly either by automatic withdrawal from your chequing account or using a credit card. Click here to download a planned giving form. WORKPLACE GIVING Some progressive companies have set up charity funds that are administered through a payroll deduction plan or by designating the Federation in their Charitable Giving discretionary funding. Ask your employer if this is available where you work. GIFTS OF REAL PROPERTY, STOCKS, BONDS OR OTHER VALUABLE COMMODITIES The BCWF welcomes gifts of property, stocks, bonds and other securities including vehicles and jewelry or collectibles. As appreciated securities allows you to take an income tax deduction for the value of the asset to the extent allowable by law, regardless of the original price. ESTATE PLANNING / LEGACY The Federation offers the opportunity for individuals to make a Gift providing a bright future for BC Heritage through mention in your will, through annuity, life insurance, retirement accounts or trusts. The Federation can assist you in determining what type of gift will work best for you to meet your charitable giving goals. VOLUNTEER The gift of your time is also precious and can be appreciated most in your own community through your support of local BCWF Clubs and their projects. FUNDRAISER You could organize your own fundraiser, garage sale or raffle and donate the proceeds to the BC Wildlife Federation. The office can assist you with promotional materials about the causes, programs and projects currently on the horizon. We encourage you to consider these options to ensure the work of the BC Wildlife Federation continues, uninterrupted, in the coming years. |
